We’re so excited for you to join us for the 2024 Carolina Meat Conference! This is the go-to conference for pastured meat and dairy professionals and has sold out every year since our beginnings in 2011! This year, for the first time ever, the Carolina Meat Conference is combining forces with the Southeast Value-Added Dairy Conference for the ultimate meat and cheese event of the year. This means you’ll gain access to even MORE programming and networking opportunities for both meat and dairy producers. So go on and get your tickets, and we’ll see you there!


The conference will be held in Boone, NC from July 30-31, 2024. You can stay up to date on all the details on the conference website and join our mailing list here.


Registration includes:

  • Admittance to all conference sessions (60 to 90 minutes each, concurrent), including butchery and cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, and lectures
  • Access to sponsor exhibit and trade show area
  • The option to attend daytime meals and snacks, including locally sourced breakfasts and lunches, snacks, drinks, and coffee
  • Complimentary parking on-site in designated conference locations throughout the event.
  • Meet-the-author book signings held throughout the conference
  • Keynote addresses from high-profile national experts
  • The option to register free of charge to the High Country Dinner on the Farm on Tuesday evening, featuring food and farms from around the High Country region (transportation to and from the event is provided)


Conference Registration Costs


There are two options for lodging:

  • You are welcome to secure your own lodging or use our hotel blocks to reserve a room. Details for hotel blocks can be found here www.carolinameatconference.com/logistics .
  • If you are a speaker who has received an email confirming your eligibility for lodging, your room will be reserved for you. Our Event Director, Kara Kroeger will be in touch with your lodging details by May 1, 2024 or sooner.
  • We are also providing a budget-conscious option for lodging at the ASU dorms on campus at $66/night. Please note that all rooms are single occupancy with a shared hallway and bathroom and that you will need to bring your own set of sheets (Twin XL), a pillow and pillowcase, a blanket, and a towel - rooms are provided without linens to keep costs low. After July 8, no dorm rooms will be available. All dorm rooms must be booked at the time of your conference registration using this form.


TICKETS

Conference Registration- March 19-July 8: $250

Includes all meals and snacks, one ticket to the Taste of the High Country farm dinner on Tuesday night, and all sessions with the exception of paid tracks.

No lodging is included in regular conference registration.


On-Campus Lodging- March 19-July 8: $66 per night

You can book on-campus lodging in the ASU dorms next door to the conference location.

Rooms are available for Sunday, Monday, and/or Tuesday nights at $66 per night, payable during registration.

All rooms are single private rooms with a shared hallway and shared bathrooms. You must bring your own linens.

No dorm registration is available after July 8 and no rooms are available on Wednesday night (July 31).


Late Conference Registration- July 9-July 29: $295

Includes all meals and snacks, one ticket to the Taste of the High Country farm dinner on Tuesday night, and all sessions with the exception of paid tracks.

No lodging is included in late conference registration and no dorm rooms are available.


Registration at the conference: $375

Registration in-person is available at the conference on July 30.

Includes all meals and snacks, one ticket to the Taste of the High Country farm dinner on Tuesday night, and all sessions and tracks

No lodging is included in regular conference registration.


Cancellation Policy:

A partial refund will be charged to process registration cancellations prior to July 1, 2024. A 50% refund will be provided for cancellations that are requested between July 1-15, 2024. Cancellation requests received after July 15 will not be refunded. In lieu of refunds, you may designate an alternate attendee at no charge.
