The Philadelphia and Pittsburgh FEBs are happy to announce the next session in our “Career Development Series” to support employees in our area. This is a series of presentations and discussions around various topics that will be of value to all employees at all levels of our workforce. Some topics may be more appropriate to some levels than others, but we hope to offer sessions that will be useful to employees at various stages of their federal career.

Our next session is “Emotional Intelligence for Leaders @ All Levels.” We will review emotional intelligence (EQ) basics and focus on how leaders at any level of the organization can increase their capacity for understanding themselves and others. Empathy, relationship building, collaboration, and mindfulness are competencies that can be learned through intentional practice and the gift of feedback. No matter where you are on your leadership journey, please invest an hour and learn more about YOU which is the foundation of emotional intelligence. Our goal is for you to walk away with at least one new idea or action item to help you become a more emotionally intelligent leader @ any level!.
