We will also give tips on correctly installing a car seat, and where to go for help if it is too confusing.

Frequently asked questions

Who can attend this workshop?

Parents/Legal Guardians with children aged 0-36 months old. While the education is great for all parents to learn, this class is catered to parents with a child under the age of 3 yrs.

What material assistance is available?

Eligible parents may qualify to receive a car seat. A Latched Team member must confirm their eligibility. All other parents may receive a car seat essentials bag and a pack of diapers. Installations and car seat inspections are available to almost all parents.

What information do I need to provide to attend this workshop?

Name, email, & phone number are required so that we can contact you. Additional info is required to attend workshop. Additional questions must be filled out prior to attending. This will assist in understanding your eligibility & getting you set up in our material assistance program.

Can my partner attend?

Yes! It is recommended that both parents attend this workshop. If you have an additional person who wants to attend the workshop, like a grandparent or non-legal guardian, please contact our offices to let us know.

What if I already have a car seat?

The education is available to parents with a child under 36 mos. Car seats are only available to eligible families. Car seat inspections are available to properly secure car seat or check for recalls, damage, or if the car seat you are using is correct for your child's weight/height requirements.

What if I am running late?

Contact us immediately. We may need to reschedule you. All topics covered in our education require attendees to stay through the entirety of the workshop. Admittance to events, socials, or workshops closes 15 min after scheduled start time to ensure attendees receive full education course.
