First District Health Unit offers the Car Seat Assistance Program. Through this program, car seats are made available at a reduced cost of $30.00 ($5.00 for backless boosters) to qualifying parents and guardians. You must pre-register and attend this class before receiving a seat. Any foster parent, and any parent or guardian who receives benefits through WIC, SNAP, Medicaid, TANF qualifies for one seat, per child, per stage.
All seats are brand new and yours to keep. The class will last around 1 hour.
