Join us for our Opening Reception on Tuesday, June 3rd, at Visit Fort Collins Welcome Center as we kick off our 3rd annual Capture the Cache Exhibition. This juried art show will showcase local photography and artwork across various mediums. This year's theme honors the fusion of art and heritage tourism, featuring pieces inspired by the agriculture, community, and weather of the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area.

Be among the first to witness these stunning creations and celebrate with the artists as the awards for the exhibition are announced live. Attendees can enjoy live music, plein air art demonstrations, savor a drink, and indulge in hors d'oeuvres while experiencing the beauty of the Poudre River corridor through art. This will be not be your average Tuesday night!

About the Exhibit: Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be free and open to the public June 4th- 29th. All artwork and photography included in the exhibit highlights the natural beauty, culture, and heritage of the Cache la Poudre River National Heritage Area. Artists and photographers included in this exhibition receive compensation for their work.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I park?

There is a parking garage directly across the street from the venue. The Old Town Parking Structure is on 100 Remington Street. There is street parking too.

What type of food and beverages will be served?

A simple spread of hors d’oeuvres. A variety of alcoholic beverages from High Country Beverage. Tea, lemonade and water will be available all evening.

What is the dress code for this event?

The dress code is business, summer casual. Think of a step-up from your day-to-day but not formal attire.

Will the art be available for purchase?

All pieces included in the exhibition will be available for purchase on a first come first serve basis throughout the month of June.

When and how can I pick up art pieces I purchased at the Opening Reception?

Art and photography purchases can be picked up at the conclusion of the Exhibit. A Cache NHA representative will be in touch to coordinate a pickup time.

Is there a program for the opening reception?

The exhibit viewing is from 5:00pm-7:00pm. At 6:30pm, awards will be announced and the silent auction for experience packages ends at 6:50pm.
