Capital Readiness Workshop
In celebration of National Small Business Month
The Department of Economic Development in collaboration with the Department of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, and the Hendrix Business Center, will host a Capital Readiness Workshop.
What is “Capital Readiness?"
Capital readiness is a small business’s ability to understand, secure, and successfully utilize funding — from loans to grants to investments — by having the right financial documents, business strategy, and operational foundation in place.
The Hampton Roads Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will lead workshops and facilitate a panel discussion that will focus on providing tools for success, support for small businesses and how The City of Norfolk provides support through programming and opportunities.
