Overview

Community CPR classes covering adult CPR and AED use, adult airway block (choking), infant CPR and AED use, and infant airway block.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest.

The American Heart Association's (AHA) Family & Friends CPR Course is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others who are interested in learning this life-saving skill but do not need a CPR course completion card for a job or other requirements.

The Cape Coral Fire Department provides Family & Friends CPR courses at no cost in both English and Spanish.
