Join the Department of Transportation for its first Capability Statement Webinar Event.

Do you want to effectively market your firm&#x27;s good and services to federal agencies and contracting officials? Do you know how to search for opportunities in DOT&#x27;s procurement forecast and beta.sam.gov? The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) will host its first Capability Statement Webinar Event. This event will target small businesses and provide them the opportunity to more fully understand, and increase their knowledge, on the procurement aspect within DOT. Activities include presentations where small businesses will listen to experts within the DOT, and the Service Corps of Retired Executives, engage in discussions that will focus on the importance of an effective capability statement, ways small businesses can be successful in using beta.SAM.gov, and procurement forecasts, to achieve success in marketing to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Event participants will also have the opportunity to:•	Gain knowledge on what kind of information is needed in a capability statement•	Listen to information designed to increase small business knowledge of the U.S. DOT OSDBU procurement forecast•Listen to information focused on the process of identifying opportunities in beta.SAM.govOSDBU staff will provide a “Walk Through” of both DOT&#x27;s procurement forecast, and beta.SAM.gov, in order to provide greater knowledge and understanding of these important tools.Registration closes by October 19th or once full capacity has been reached.For additional questions regarding this event, please contact Edens Duphresne, Small Business Specialist, at 202.366.1930 or email at dot-osdbu@dot.gov.
