Through our Prevention Department, Liberty House offers FREE child safety education in English and Spanish.Our trainings are designed to empower communities to prevent abuse and help keep kids safe. The trainings are free so we can provide this information to everyone in the community.Each course includes video, discussion, resources, and a certificate of completion.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. View our series of child safety trainings in English during CAP Month in April 2026. Join us to learn more about how we can all protect children.

About the Training:Let’s Talk! is a 1-hour training that helps you decide how to talk about difficult topics with your children in a way that is age-appropriate and supportive. Talking about sex is an important step in protecting and empowering children. Learn how to have open, ongoing conversations to help you feel more confident and prepared to talk about anything with your children. Let’s Talk! is a custom training created by Liberty House based on feedback from parents and caregivers who expressed interest in learning more about how to talk to children about sex and other topics that can be difficult to discuss. About the Facilitator:Liberty House is the Children’s Advocacy Center serving Marion and Polk Counties in Oregon. We are your resource for the assessment, healing, and prevention of child abuse and neglect. Child abuse is common, possible to heal, and largely preventable. Our Prevention Department provides trainings and education in English and Spanish to help keep children safe.
