Why does Fresno need a CAP?

Climate change is causing more frequent extreme weather events. Frontline communities are most at risk. Required by state law (SB 379).

What is the Environmental Justice Element?

Policy document that improves public health in frontline communities. Ensures equitable protection from pollution and access to resources to promote health.

Why does Fresno need it?

Frontline communities are exposed to more pollution and have less access to resources. Required by state law (SB 1000).
