All Together Now invites you to &#x27;Canvas,&#x27; a dynamic collaboration between Puerto Rican fashion designer, Janice Emilia and LA artist, Riley Vaughn. This show fuses fashion and art, pushing both artists to step out of their comfort zones and permitting both art forms to inspire each other. &#x27;Canvas&#x27; has two meaning, one, the blank canvas of a painter and two, a boxing ring (which is typically made of canvas). As a fashion designer, Janice Emilia finds herself in a trajectory of discovery. After designing shorts for Puerto Rican boxer, Ryan Pino, Janice has moved into the world of boxing and now, art. Starting with boxing shorts as inpiration, &#x27;Canvas&#x27; symbolizes the convergence of the fashion runway, the painter&#x27;s medium, and the boxing ring&#x27;s canvas, becoming a place of creativity, empowerment, and the human spirit.This night will bring forth a unique process which started with Riley Vaughn painting into fabric. He then shipped this to Janice Emilia, who created from this the clothing that will be presented at the show. Doors to the venue open at 7:00pm and will promptly close at 8:00pm. The show will begin shortly after doors close. Please be at the venue before 8:00pm. No late entry will be permitted. We hope to see you there! Best, All Together Now
