Canvas, Part I: Creating and Managing a Course

This Canvas workshop is for GUMC faculty and staff. In this workshop, participants will learn the Canvas skills for:

• Creating and managing course sites
• Creating a course homepage and course pages using Pages and Rich Content Editor
• Uploading and managing course files using Files
• Adding and organizing course contents using Modules
• Using Calendar to schedule class sessions, events, and appointments
• Using Inbox and Notifications to send emails to course students
