Frequently asked questions

What if I am not an artist?

AMAZING! You don't need to be an artist or have any artistic training under your belt for this paint night in the Red Barn! We welcome the whole spectrum of artistic abilities and invite you to come and cultivate some calm in a beautiful space.

What should I wear?

Please wear clothes that you feel comfortable in! Keep in mind that you will be painting with acrylic paint and while it is non-toxic and water-based it is difficult to get out of clothing once dried. Ie. it's best not to wear your favorite lulus.

Will I get to take my painting home on the day of the event?

YES! You will be leaving with a wet canvas. Think ahead about a suitable plan to get them home safely. (Old towels or drop clothes for the back of your car, for example)

Can I opt out of having a smoothie?

No. Smoothies are included in the price. There will be two options to choose from during the Eventbrite registration.

Do I need an apron/smock?

See question above on what to wear. They wont be provided, however, option of an apron or smock is up to you! If you know you like to get messy then it's probably best to bring one with you :) (a great option is an old button down shirt - go raid a partners/parents closet or a second-hand store!
