Cantankerous Creatures

Cantankerous Creatures' Ground/Breaking will feature original dance works by award winning choreographer Alice Klock and Cantankerous Creatures Artistic Director Adrian Hoffman in an evening designed to explore how the inner language of contemporary dance can be made fully accessible to live audiences, both experienced and brand new to the form.
     The Cantankerous company of five dancers from across the country will perform two twenty-minute works accompanied by a solo by Adrian Hoffman. Following will be a re-imagined talk back session where audience members can share their responses and questions in lively conversation with the artists and fellow attendees.
     Please come participate in this fresh experiment to illuminate the living, breathing anatomy of what contemporary dance is working to express!
