Canning Workshop: Tomatoes

Canning can be a wonderful way to extend the season and support local farms - especially when they have an over-abundance - and there’s nothing like a perfectly ripe farm-fresh tomato from summer. All produce will be locally sourced from Tiger Valley Farm & Market in Central, SC.

Participants will learn how to peel, pack and process tomatoes, then each participant will go home with a pint of tomatoes along with instructions and various recipes so you can preserve more of summer’s bounty in your home kitchen.
