Join Advanced Master Gardener, April Rippel, for a workshop on preserving your own homegrown treasures! Discover how easy it is to transform your berries, tomatoes, pickles, and more into delicious jars of goodness using the right canning supplies. From mastering the art of water bath canning to confidently handling pressure canning, April will guide you through every step to ensure your preserves are not only tasty, but also safe for long-term storage. Don’t miss this opportunity to become empowered with the knowledge and skills to stock your pantry with homemade delights!A small brown bag lunch (fruits, nuts, snack and water) will be provided.Adults Only. Registration Required.Join us on Saturdays and learn about gardening. Classes are led by Master Gardeners. Lunch and Learn Series is composed of ten programs designed to educate the community in all things gardening. These Lunch and Learn series are held on 2nd Saturdays at 11:30am to 12:30pm in the Community Meeting Room of the Seguin Public Library.
