Make your own handmade mason jar soy candle while enjoying some silly farm animals at our urban farm in Summerville! Our baby goats were just born so come make a cozy candle while snuggling them!
We will provide everything you need to make your own hand poured soy wax yummy scented candle! We will have 4 of our best selling scents to choose from which we change up each season. We will provide the jar to make your candle in, the label, wax, wick, and everything you will need for us to teach you how to make it! If you want to bring your own jar that's fine too as long as it holds under12 fluid ounces. Some ideas are coffee mugs, 16 oz or smaller antique mason jars, or old candle jars you have saved! We will be providing a standard size 16oz plain mason jars with vintage inspired galvanized lids which make the perfect southern candle!
We will be making the candles outside with the farm animals! And once we are done and waiting for the candles to set, you can snuggle, take pics, and just hang out with the animals! Guests can bring a picnic blanket if you want and also BYOB!
Children 12+ only. No pets allowed. No outside food. Please wear closed toed shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty. This is still a farm.
We specialize in exclusive experiences & classes on a small scale, so there will only be about 20 people in attendance. We will have more animals than people! Our animals are not behind a fence either, they will literally sit in your lap if you allow them to! We are an urban farm, so we are located in the heart of Summerville at our historic farmhouse. We are city in the front, and country in the back! And we are a husband and wife team that will be hosting y'all!

We sell our handmade goat milk soaps, farm fresh eggs, farm t-shirts, farmhouse lazy susans, and farm mugs here if you want to purchase a souvenir to support our urban mini-farm! We've been hosting goat yoga classes since 2018, also host farm snuggle sessions, paint & wine with goats classes, intro to goats & chickens classes, pumpkin carving with goats, holiday farm events, and have an off-grid treehouse, Flowertown Charm Off-Grid, we rent to guests in Western North Carolina on 23 private acres.

*IMPORTANT: PARKING is limited here at "Flowertown Charm" and is designated for overnight staying guests. Please ONLY park at the neighboring church in the basketball court parking lot at 255 Stallsville (Loop) Rd and walk to our farmhouse on 225 Stallsville (Corner of Stallsville & Long Needle Lane). DO NOT park the the endodontics buidling or church main lot, they tow. We are a Historic White House with Red shutters and Black Fountain with a white Goat Sign out front. Use the white gates on the left side of the house with the farm sign to enter the farm yard. Please close and latch gates behind you.
*PLEASE LOOK UP DRIVE TIME, the Lowcountry has traffic, no surprise there, we are in the heart of Summerville, so folks coming from other cities will hit traffic. There's only so much time after work/school until dark for us to hold this activity outdoors while the animals are awake. So we are trying to accommodate everyone.

Frequently asked questions
We will most likely reschedule the class as goats HATE the rain! We usually will make the call 12-24 hours in advance and will reach out to guests via the email they registered with if we do cancel and reschedule. If you cannot wait that long please email us jenna@flowertowncharm.com to refund.

No outside food is allowed, but you can BYOB.
NO! Our animals will get spooked and not want to mingle with guests. Also our farm dogs will protect our animals and want to guard them and cause a lot of frustration.
No, please pre-purchase a ticket so we can get an accurate headcount. We have a capacity limit and usually sell out in advance.

Yes we do, although they are in a separate area from our guests area, bring a Epi-pen if you are allergic please.
