Includes 2 homemade candles, materials to take home, and a guided tour of the Show Dome. Light up the season and bring nature indoors with the creation of naturally scented candles! Learn the history of candle making, how essential oils are made, and visit our herbs in the Show Dome. We'll make soy candles in upcycled jars. Take home one large candle and one small candle.Location: Mitchell Park Domes Education CenterCost includes all materials. Members $25; Nonmembers $28This workshop is a part of the Friends of the Domes adult workshop series. Youth 12-15 are welcome with an adult supervisor.FOD Media/Photo Release Policy: Photos and other media taken during the class may be used for marketing purposes.
