Liberated Learners' mission is to support the creation of Self-Directed Education (SDE) centers in every community and to provide ongoing mutual support for our member centers around the world. We offer free monthly webinars discussing the educational and financial models. Our Starter Program provides individual support for people interested to open an SDE center in their community. Does school’s structure make learning harder for many people?

Most of us went to school and believe school is necessary for children and youth to learn and become educated. What if this isn’t true? What if the way school is organized actually makes learning harder for many people? What if young people can go to college and obtain professional work without going to high school? Dr. Naomi Fisher, clinical psychologist and author of <a href="https://www.littlebrown.co.uk/titles/naomi-fisher/changing-our-minds/9781472145505/?v2=true" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Changing Our Minds: How Children Can Take Control of their Own Learning</a>, will join us for a discussion of learning, motivation, and educational environments that foster meaningful learning for young people. Q&amp;A will follow. This is an online event via Zoom. Please register to receive the sign-on information.
