About this event

  • 1 hour

Join us for a free training to learn more about how you can host a Colors & Connection workshop on your college or university campus! From Project UnLonely, Colors & Connection is a 1-hour workshop that harnesses the power of creative expression to engage, inspire, empower, and connect a diverse array of students and other communities within the campus environment.

If you want to learn more about how to bring Colors & Connection to your campus community, we're here to help! This training is ideal for:

  • College or university staff: including those in student affairs, wellness, or health services (or anyone else interested in bringing Project UnLonely to their campus)
  • Faculty members and advisors
  • Student leaders

This training is experiental, so we'll be trying out different parts of the workshop together. With that in mind, please bring the following materials to the session:

  • A piece of blank paper
  • Coloring supplies: crayons, markers, colored pencils, or oil pastels all work great! You can use whatever you have on hand, or you can buy some inexpensive supplies beforehand.

After the training, you can request a Certificate of Completion if you'd like one.

In the meantime.... the Colors & Connection curriculum, facilitator guide, workshop slides, and promotional templates are available on our website without charge. Sign up now to access these materials on our self-serve, online platform.

Studies show that loneliness affects 30% of us - and is as lethal as smoking 15 cigarettes a day! Project UnLonely, the signature initiative of The Foundation for Art & Healing, was created to help reduce stigma and the burden of loneliness by encouraging people to tap into outlets for creative expression.  The Foundation for Art & Healing’s mission is to promote creative arts expression as a means to improve health and well-being for both individuals and communities.
