Description

Camp will be held on Mondays from 4-5 pm led by Mrs. Gilbert.

Camp TechTerra held during fall, spring, and summer sessions, is a STEM camp that offers programs for elementary students to explore Coding, Robotics, 3D Printing, and Maker Education all in a hands-on learning environment.

Camp TechTerra helps students explore their world through science, technology, engineering, math and the arts, honing students’ creativity and developing competence and confidence. Taught by seasoned and enthusiastic teachers, the curriculum offers opportunities for students to:

  • Learn to code using web-based and app-based programs

  • Program robots and microcontrollers, learning to simulate, estimate and model

  • Learn to take photographs and videos using digital tools to create Digital Stories

  • Produce original creations with 3D Printing

  • Discover, use and create with augmented and virtual reality

  • Work in the Make it-Take it Station, imagining, designing and creating


Our program will be offered this school year at Powe on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 pm. Throughout fall and spring 2016-17, camp will run for 25 weeks. There are 11 sessions in the fall at $220 and 14 sessions in the spring at $280.

Payments made in full by September 26 for fall will receive a 10% discount. Payments made in full by January 9 for spring will receive a 10% discount. Due to equipment, materials, supplies and staffing in place for each camp, we are unable to process refunds once a camp session begins.
