WHAT IS CAMP CARPE DIEM (CCD)?

Camp Carpe Diem is a place to connect with fellow RVers, travelers, nomads, entrepreneurs, and on-the-road workers. It’s a place to come together to explore your interests, find your tribe, and create a community of like-minded people where personal connections are more important than WIFI connections.

A place where sticky s’mores hands, scraped up mountain biking knees, burnt BBQ’d fingertips, happy feet, revitalized taste buds, and laughter-invigorated souls take over your world...if only for a long weekend.

THE HAPS AT CCD

Prepare yourself for a long weekend of fun in Hot Springs, Arkansas, surrounded by historic bathhouses, trails for biking and hiking, and the beauty of Hot Springs National Park right in your backyard. Our host town is Hot Springs, minutes from breweries, distilleries, trails, and stunning photo ops.

Possible activities to be planned for CCD include, but are not limited to: local brewery and distillery tours and excursions, mountain biking clinics, mountain biking rides, photography workshops, hiking, rig tours, RVing and travel lessons, happy hours and drink shares, community dinners complete with s’mores, and more.

PRE AND POST CCD FUN (For Example, the Bentonville Bike Fest)

Connect with others and keep the fun going for more together-time both before and after Camp Carpe Diem's official dates. Over the last few CCD events, attendees have shown up as soon as weeks prior and stayed weeks after. It's all up to you.

Campers love to get together and many events such as potlucks, scenic drives, excursions into neighboring towns, and many more activities all happen spur of the moment.

Plus, if you're a mountain biking fan, we scheduled CCD 2024 to be in Hot Springs, Arkansas, so campers can attend CCD and then head a mere 200 miles north for the Bentonville Bike Fest May 23-26.

(NOTE: Campground reservations are not included with price of event registration. Campground reservations - either at CCD's basecamp or another campground - must be made separately.)

BASECAMP: HOT SPRINGS OFF-ROAD PARK

All events originate from the official CCD basecamp location at Hot Springs Off-Road Park. You are welcome to stay wherever you’d like; but if you want ALL the community, book your stay at the Hot Springs Off-Road Park.

After you purchase your tickets to CCD, reserve your spot by calling 501-625-3600 and mentioning Camp Carpe Diem. Rates for the official CCD event dates of May 16-20, as well as the day before the event are 15% off their regular price. (Regular price averages around $40-45 per night for an RV site.)

Hot Springs Off Road Park has water and electrical connections, but currently there is no sewer onsite - although there is a dump located nearby and a shower house on site. There are plans in the works to have full hook-up sites with individual sewer connections available and this could happen prior to CCD.

Note: Once sewer is in place prices may increase slightly, but the 15% CCD discount will remain in place.

Cabins, tents sites, and RV dry camping sites are available, as well. Be sure to mention Camp Carpe Diem when booking for the 15% discount off all these rates.

Your camp guides are in sites 56 and 57. If you would like to be in that same area or want to have more of a chance at choosing a specific site, be sure to book your site sooner than later.
