Camp 911will be held August 13 and 14, 2024 at Mercy EMS from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. The camp is brought to you by Aspirus Health, Mercy EMS and UP Health System - Portage.


Camp 911 participants will have the opportunity to learn lifesaving emergency care, careers in the medical field (EMS, nursing or public safety), injury prevention and more!

The two-day event is FREE, but space is limited and registration does not guarentee attendance. Participants will be selected at random after registration closes on June 17. Notifications will be sent out by July 1 on attendance.

Camp curriculum includes:

Day 1:

  • Extrication/load and go demo
  • Tour of EMS, police and fire and
  • rescue vehicles
  • Injury prevention
  • Superior search an rescue demo

Day 2:

  • Fire safety
  • Internet safety
  • Wilderness survival
  • Rescue relay
  • Certificates

All participants will receive lunch, a t-shirt and bystander care kit.
