This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the foundational principles of camera operation and lighting for video production, with a focus on the 3-point lighting technique. Participants will learn how to set up and balance key, fill, and back lights to create professional- quality interviews and cinematic scenes. Through live demonstrations and practical exercises, attendees will gain an understanding of lighting angles, exposure settings, and how to work with natural and artificial light to shape mood, depth, and character. Ideal for beginner to intermediate filmmakers, content creators, and media students.

About the Instructor:

Onel Mulet is an award winning documentary filmmaker and adjunct professor at Baruch College. Since 2013 he has been a media professor for BRIC, Bronxnet, and DCTV.
