Celebrate Juneteenth together in joyous community with a parade beginning at City Hall and ending at Riverside Press Park.

As we strive to cultivate a culture of inclusivity and compassion, it is important to recognize that this effort starts with each of us individually. With Juneteenth just around the corner on Monday, June 19, 2023, we would like to extend an invitation to honor and celebrate this significant milestone in U.S. history. This occasion provides a chance to not only reflect on the progress that still needs to be made but also to rejoice in the Black community&#x27;s joy and togetherness. This year&#x27;s parade will commemorate the first African American Fire Chief, Patrick H. Raymond, who was appointed as the chief of the Cambridge Fire Department in 1871.
We will be ending at Riverside Press Park where we will have a few speakers, music, arts &amp; crafts and JOY.
