United Way-Greater Los Angeles

Did you know that 3 out of every 4 California retirees rely overwhelmingly on Social Security, leading to significant economic hardship? With each generation on track to retire poorer than the last, the strain on taxpayer funded health and human services will undermine the long-term
financial stability of the state. CalSavers is a new retirement savings program that makes it easier for the 7.5 million of Californians who do not have access to an employer-sponsored retirement plan to save for retirement.
United Way of Greater Los Angeles invites you to learn more about this exciting program. This learning session, led by a representative from the California State Treasurer's Office, will provide background and an introduction to CalSavers, discuss how the program will impact employers and employees, provide information about the enrollment process and how you can be a CalSavers champion. Continental breakfast will be provided.
