The CALM Trainer Refresher Course is for existing trainers only and required every two years to maintain trainer authorization.
The CALM Trainer Refresher Course is required every two years to maintain trainer authorization and access to CALM materials. The curriculum is designed for those trained after June, 2023. During this 5-hour session, participants will be guided through updates to the CALM Clinical Workshop materials and receive access to our online portal. Participants will also participate in CALM-SAFE, a firearms literacy training that will enhance trainers' cultural competency and ability to address questions related to firearms and secure storage.
