Hamilton County has a strong System of Care; a partnership of agencies, professionals, and community members, including youth and family, who unite to improve supports in our community.It is designed to:provide guided supports for all families in Hamilton County through community and provider education and trainingconnect families to support and aid while removing roadblocks and minimizing complicationaccelerate the healing process for families by getting help to them soonerprevent child abuse and neglect as well as human trafficking and attempted or completed suicideWe believe that all young people have wellness needs that would benefit from the support of the entire community.

When Confidence Abandons: Calling On Self-Compassion Workshop

Noblesville High School

Workshop for teens!Led and sponsored by the Youth and Family Alliance of the Hamilton County System of Care; led and supported by Balance &amp; Harmony Yoga.
This is a no-cost event for teens from any Hamilton County school system!What you can expect during our time together:
1.	Define self-esteem vs. self-compassion 
2.	Mindfulness practice using visualization
3.	Journaling ExerciseConfidence and esteem can wax and wane, especially when we are under stress. This is where our self-compassion comes in.How can you see, hear, and love yourself?How can you Flip Your Script?Learn skills and strategies to build your self-compassion, starting in this workshop as guided by Balance &amp; Harmony Yoga, and take home items that can help you continue your practice.With all the pressures teens are under, bring compassion inside toward you.
