Calling all kids! Come see compost in ACTION! Join us at Glencoe Community Garden as our local expert gardeners teach us how compost helps their garden grow! You’ll learn about what compost is, what it’s used for and then you’ll help the garden add compost to it’s vegetable bed and plant lettuce seeds! Space is limited. Co-sponsored by the Glencoe Sustainability Task Force.

One parent/guardian is required to attend with their child(ren). Please be sure to dress appropriately for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes and bring gardening gloves. The garden also requires waivers to be signed for all children participating - you can find the waiver on their website at: https://www.glencoecommunitygarden.com/_files/ugd/0cb206_1ca42d9d04fb4c35874e1c298a6dce4d.pdf
