WORKSHOP DETAILS: Welcome to the immersive workshop where calligraphy and clay collide in a symphony of creativity! Led by Kaitlyn of The Lettering Bar and Alina of Mastepeace Arts, this interactive 2-hour session is a journey into the art of lettering and clay sculpting to transform a simple wine bottle into a unique canvas.

Dive into the world of brush calligraphy with Kaitlyn of The Lettering Bar and discover the intricacies of this elegant craft.

During the modern calligraphy segment, you'll learn:

- The proper tools to get started

- The correct way to hold your brush pen(s)

- The difference between multiple brush pens, by sampling a variety

- How to connect letters to create words

- A variety of simple practice drills

- Guidance on creating different styles, mixing prints and developing your own style

- Tips, tricks and how to correct common mistakes

- Application of learned techniques to paint modern calligraphy onto your bottle canvas.

You'll then go home with a lettering kit that includes 2 brush pens, lettering packet with upper and lower case alphabet, tracing paper and a pen case as well.

Following this captivating calligraphy experience, Alina from Masterpeace Arts will guide you through the enchanting realm of clay creations. This involves:

- Learning about the tools necessary for sculpting clay

- Exploring various hand building clay techniques

- Discussing what you would like to create (various visual examples will be presented) or if you have an idea feel free to show us your inspo picture and we can help create it.

-The instructor facilitating and guiding your creative journey

(We use a special air dry clay which does not requiring firing in the kiln which means you will be able to take the art work home with you same day)
