ADVANCED TICKET SALES HAVE ENDED - TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR FOR $30 ON DAY OF EVENT

Abide is the 3rd annual Women Helping Women conference held at Pleasant View Baptist Church. Each year, the WHW conference is designed to encourage, equip, and enable women from all over the region in their walk with Christ.

This year, we are excited to welcome C3 Worship from Charm City Church (Abingdon, MD), 5 powerful women of God as our speakers (see below for speaker profiles) a special guest speaker, an amazing hostess (see below) and of course, our WHW ministry team to make you feel right at home for an unforgettable experience.

What is truly exciting is that this year, for the very first time, all of our guests will get to hear EVERY speaker! There will be no break-out sessions to register for, which means ticketing and check out will be easy!

Every ticket provides you with a conference swag bag, a day of rich worship through song and fellowship, a delicious catered lunch (providing for everyones individual dietary needs) all day drinks and snacks, free photobooth (candid shots and poloroids) and lots of door prizes!

ADVANCE TICKETS: February 4 - April 1: $25

DOOR TICKETS: (all tickets after April 15) $30

We have a limited number of scholarship tickets available. Please see Gayle or Danielle to register or email daniellelbane@gmail.com.

**All sessions this year are in the sanctuary.

Session 1: Adjust: Blessed Assurance When We Abide with Beverly England

In every season of life, God calls us to new opportunities, challenges, and ministries. The only constant is Jesus. Being firm and immovable in Christ is the key to acommplishing the uniquie purpose He has for you.

Session 2: Believe: Seeing is Believing with Liz Engelberth

Luke 5:17-20 - Belief is a choice. Belief is an action word. WIth our belief, we can stand in the gap for others. Belief invites a move of God.

Session 3: Invest: Training with a Purpose with Stephanie Starkey

Invest in your spiritual disciplines. This practice might feel like work at first, much like fitness training. Establishing new habits will press against our lack of interest in uncomfortable ways, but our hearts will catch up. We will discuss "training with a purpose" - to ABIDE in Jesus - and how everything we do flows from that.

Session 4: Devote: Distracted, Dedicated, or Devoted? with Gayle Leubecker

"Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things. But one thing is needful; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

This passage has always confused me a bit. I have always felt like Martha got sort-of a raw deal here. I mean, James says faith without works is dead, and that our faith will be shown in our works. Lets talk about what I think was really going on in this Luke passage. It think it may be different than what you typically hear in a sermon ...

Session 5: Embody: A Tangible, Everyday Expression of Jesus in You! with Laurie Hornberger.

How do we embody Christ in our lives? 1. Identify my acceptable sins and cast them away. Allow the potter to form the clay. 2. Be intentional about impacting the next generation. Every good tree brings forth good fruit. 3. Be bold and evangelize to our friends and family. Be ready to give an answer for the hope that is in you.
