California’s Forgotten Children is a feature documentary that follows a diverse group of resilient survivors who have overcome commercial sexual exploitation as children and are changing the world by ensuring no child is forgotten. This film gives viewers the tools to combat this epidemic and empowers survivors on their path to freedom.

On Friday, July 26th, the documentary film “California’s Forgotten Children,” will be shown at the Hermosa Beach Community Theatre at 7 p.m. The 90-minute film won Best Documentary at the 2018 Soho Film Festival. In total, it has received over 20 awards and honors, for its impact and significance. The Emmy award winning director of the film, Melody C. Miller, will be present for a Q&A following the film.
