California City School Superintendents 2024 Spring Conference

Dear Fellow California Superintendents,

If you have never been to a California City School Superintendents Conference, you are missing out on the best 24-hour professional development created for, and by, California superintendents! The conference theme is Addressing the Needs of California Superintendents. It features presenters of the highest quality in an intimate interactive setting. Superintendents who attend, rave about how much they get in such a short time, as well as the relationships they build with fellow superintendents.

May's Spring conference in San Diego promises to be engaging and meaningful for California superintendents of districts of all sizes thanks to our distinguished slate of presenters. Our keynote speakers will motivate and inspire you!

The conference starts with a lunch at 11:30 am on Thursday, May 2nd, and ends around noon Friday, May 3rd. It will be held at The Westgate Hotel located at 1055 Second Avenue
San Diego, CA 92101 - just 3 miles from the San Diego International Airport.

As enticing as our presentations are, we know you will also enjoy the collegiality! The time away from your districts to share best practices is minimal, and the wealth of information you will receive makes this Superintendents’ conference a must-attend event.

Conference Registration: The conference registration fee is $249.00 and includes a luncheon and dinner on Thursday, breakfast on Friday, and snacks during breaks. The deadline to register or request a refund is April 26, 2024. It is now easier than ever to register through our new online portal. Hotel Reservations: Reservations for The Westgate Hotel must be made by April 10, 2024 to secure the special room rate of $249.00/night (+taxes/fees). Please note that there are a limited number of rooms at the special group rate which may be filled prior to the above mentioned cut-off dates so reservations should be made early!

Reservations must be held by a deposit or credit card guarantee. To cancel a guaranteed reservation without penalty, you must notify the hotel 72 hours prior to arrival. Without notification, the hotel will bill the credit card for room & tax.

All guest room accommodations are subject to local tax and tourism fees. Overnight valet parking will be at the rate of $50.00 per vehicle per night. Complimentary in-room WiFi for all room guests.

Reservations made after the cut off date or after the group block has been filled will be confirmed on a space available basis at the hotel's current guest room rate.

Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
