Join the Cal Alumni Club of Chicago welcome incoming UC Berkeley students to the Cal family at our Summer Beach party. Mingle with Mid-West Cal students and Cal alums on the shores of Lake Michigan at Sunrise Beach, Lake Bluff. We will provide a light lunch, networking opportunities, beach games and much, much more. Bring your beach gear and get ready to sing the Cal Fight Song!

Who: Current and Incoming Cal students, parents and Cal Alumni

Where: Sunrise Beach, 455 Sunrise Avenue, North Shelter, Lake Bluff, IL 60044

How to reach: From Chicago you can take the Metra UP North Line to the Lake Bluff train station. It’s a 10 minute walk to Sunrise Beach or a Cal alum driver can meet you at the station and provide transportation. Free street parking is available.

  • Incoming/current Cal students, parents - FREE
  • Cal Alumni - $15 per person
