Come and "Cache de Bayou" with Houma Travel- home of Louisiana's first and only GeoTours!
This free 3-day event will feature new caches, a unique collectible coin, mini events, trackable trading, group photos, and more!

<LI>Friday, October 13th – GC7255G – Cache Release Mixer - 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm CST. Come and meet up with fellow geocachers and obtain the coordinates for the “Cache de Bayou”trail at Greenwood Gator Farm located at 125 Gator Court Gibson, La 70356. Light refreshments will be served and gator farm tours will be available for a very small fee. Take part in the “Show Us Your Boots” competition—get creative! Decorate and arrive in style in your best rubber boots (or as we call them, Cajun Reeboks) to the Cache Release Party. The winner will receive a prize! <LI>Saturday, October 14th – GC72HH6 - Breakfast Mixer - 8:00 am at the Houma Area Visitors Center located at 114 Tourist Dr. Gray, La 70359- Come and enjoy a full breakfast while you mingle with other Geocachers. Take advantage of the trackable trading table, group photos, and a "meet and greet" with Geocaching Celebrity Joshua Johnson aka "The Geocaching Vlogger." Later that evening, meet us at the <A HREF="http://voiceofthewetlands.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Voice of the Wetlands Festival</A>  which will take place in the Historic Downtown Houma area(free parking, free admission) to enjoy the sounds of some of the most talented blues, zydeco, and rock bands under the beautiful Louisiana starry sky. </LI>

<LI>Sunday, October 15th –GC72HHF - Donuts, Coffee, and Coins! - 9:30 am to 3:30 pm CST at the Houma Area Visitors Center located at 114 Tourist Dr. Gray, La 70359- Come grab a delicious donut and hot coffee when redeeming your completed Cache de Bayou game piece and receive your collectible coin!</LI>

Cache de Bayou will be taking place alongside one of Houma's largest and most exciting outdoor festivals--Voice of the Wetlands. At VOW, you can expect to see Grammy Nominated and B.B.King Entertainer of the Year Award Winner Tab Benoit and other well known blues artists in a free, 3 day, 2 stage festival featuring great music, an abundance of Louisiana cookin', arts and crafts vendors, outdoor camping, free parking and more! We will also have a variety of partnering hotels, attractions, and restaurants with exclusive rates and incentives for all Geocachers attending this event.
