What is Cacao?

The Mayans considered cacao to be sacred and used it in religious ceremonies, as well as for medicinal and culinary purposes. According to indigenous beliefs, when you drink it, you receive the guidance of the cacao spirit. Cacao is often called Mama Cacao. The spirit, or energy, of cacao is said to be female, heart opening, gentle, forgiving, and powerful. She connects with the energy of the divine feminine, the emotional body, the heart and crown chakra.

Cacao is a rich source of theobromine, caffeine, iron, magnesium, tryptophan, B-complex vitamins and flavonoids. Multiple clinical trials have shown, that habitually consuming cacao can help with anemia especially among vegetarians and vegans lower the risk of cardio metabolic diseases by improving the markers for triglycerides, HDL cholesterol and fasting insulin; improves brain function, ability to focus; and improve mood.

We support the native communities by buying ceremonial grade Cacao. Ceremonial cacao has been handpicked, fermented, cooked, and blessed by the indigenous women of ancient lineages. All the processes are carried out by hand, as this cacao is heated into the blocks that we buy, and is therefore not raw. Therefore the beans are minimally processed to retain their nutrients and phytochemical.

What is sound Healing?

Sound healing helps to influence brainwave frequencies, enabling a person to enter an altered state of consciousness similar to very deep relaxation. Sound healing can help to shift your brain waves to a certain frequency through a process called entrainment. Which is when your brain synchronises its waves to the same frequency of the gong and crystal bowls. These specific frequencies speak directly to the cells in your body to improve wellbeing and help to reduce stress.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient energy healing from Japan which channels the life force energy to heal every aspect of you mind, body and spirit. Reiki teaches that there are seven chakras within our bodies, the crown, the third eye, the throat, the heart, the solar plexus, the sacral and the root. When any one of these chakras become blocked with stagnant energy it can cause a whole host of physical and emotional symptoms. The reiki healing allows this energy to unblock, allowing you to speak your truth, expressing yourself and opens your heart after any heart break, grief or loss. You may feel these negative emotions which we have been taught to bury come up, if you do it is important to let the body do what it needs to do to heal and to let go, for your greatest good.
