Raising over £1.8million for local charities by cycling across in Scotland in the past 12 years, the Coast to Coast journey continues!The C2C group have had fantastic support over the past 12 years from within the BP community that it emerged from and experience great generosity from the wider public. In its thirteenth year, the group's aim is to continue fundraising for exceptional local charities and offer a sociable cycling challenge for many - those new to cycling and those more experienced.

Much like last year’s fantastic event, this year’s C2C ceilidh will be at the beautiful <A HREF="https://www.abdn.ac.uk/confevents/venues/elphinstone-hall-49.php" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Elphinstone Hall" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Elphinstone Hall</A>, University of Aberdeen in Old Aberdeen.

Late-night stovies included and drinks available at the bar - please note: it is a cash-only bar…
Dress code? Just make sure you can dance!
Organised by the Coast to Coast (C2C) cycling group and open to all, all profits from the £20 ticket price will go to this year’s C2C local charities as part of the fundraising for the 11th C2C challenge (details below). This year’s local charities are:

So, why not come along for an evening of music, dancing and late-night stovies?!
 
The cycling challenge that awaits...
Three days to travel from Arran back to Aberdeen with one purpose - to raise funds for local charities. There will be challenging climbs, fatigue and saddle sores, but all worth it for the deserving charities. The group started by raising funds for 10 years for <A HREF="http://www.mndscotland.org.uk/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="MND Scotland" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">MND Scotland</A> - among many other local causes. MND Scotland funds research and provides support for sufferers of Motor Neuron Disease. This disease may cause someone to lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, drink or breathe unaided and is of particular interest to the group, shortening the life of the group's good friend Ian Bowen.
Further donations will be welcomed on the night and can be given online.
