Have you ever thought about doing a byway branded event, like a 5K fun run, a fishing tournament, or a caravan of classic cars? What a great way to increase the visibility of your byway not only for locals, but visitors as well! It can help grow your pool of byway volunteers and even Board members, too.

Presenter Sharon Strouse is the NSBF (National Scenic Byway Foundation) Executive Director. Involved with byway programs since 1997, she leads the member-driven nonprofit Foundation to be the ‘National Voice of Scenic Byways and Roads,’ along with several national partners. Her work supports byway leaders as they work to protect and enhance their byway resources. Through planning, fund-raising and education, she has gained experience at the local, state and national levels working with byways.

After 30 years, Sharon is an Emeritus Professor with Ohio State University Extension, Community Development and owns a small business, Design Impressions, in Millersburg Ohio.

This webinar will help byway leaders and staff, state byway coordinators, byway volunteers, and anyone interested in starting a new byway event, or improving a current one.
