Join Live Baltimore at a Buy Back the Block informational meeting to learn if you qualify for up to $20,000 of government money for a down payment on a home. See testimonials from recent recipients of the Buy Back the Block program.

Buy Back the Block down payment grants do NOT need to be repaid.

WHEN: Monday, June 10

WHERE: The Belair-Edison Middle School.

WHY: This event will give you the opportunity to learn if you can qualify for up to $20,000 for a down payment on a home.


At this event, you will:

  • Learn and ask questions about the Buy Back the Block Program and other homebuying incentives
  • Take the Buy Back the Block eligibility quiz
  • Sign up for homeownership counseling
  • Speak with a lender about your specific financial situation


Food and beverages will be available.


The Buy Back the Block Program is administered by Live Baltimore, a nonprofit organization, in partnership with the City of Baltimore. Funding is available thanks to the American Rescue Plan Act (also known as ARPA).
