In this beginner class you will learn the basics of working with buttercream while creating a set of 6 cupcakes with succulents designs. Vanessa, from Sweet Details GR, will guide you and share some of the tips and tricks she has learned during the +10 years she has been baking professionally. You will leave the class with the skills and confidence to wow your family and friends.
FEATURED TECHNIQUES: How to color buttercream. How to fill a pipping bag. Use of decorating tips. Composition. Piping skills. Color theory. All techniques can be applied to cakes as well.

You will practice basic piping techniques and will walk away with a set of beautifully decorated cupcakes plus new skills.

Minimum class size is 6. If 6 students have not registered for this event, we reserve the right to cancel or change event date. In this case tickets will be refunded. We reserve the right to cancel this class due to illness or low enrollment in which case you will be offered a full refund.

Cupcakes are baked in a kitchen that shares equipment with peanuts, nuts, soy and other allergens. Cookies contain eggs, dairy, and wheat.

Nothing! Everything will be provided for you including baked sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun!
Our classes are for almost any age as long as the kids are comfortable working independently. We recommend ages >8 Minors must be accompanied by an adult that also purchased a ticket. If you think your child may be too young to enjoy the in-person class, purchase an additional cookie kit!
Unfortunately NOT. Our seats are limited and every person in the class must purchase a ticket. Good news is you can buy extra kits to take home and pass along everything learned on the class. Email us at hello@sweetdetailsgr.com if you’re interested in purchasing extra kits.
Yes! Coming alone is a great way to learn something new, relax and talk to others with similar interests.
As long as we have enough seats available YES If you are part of a group please arrive early to make sure you can sit together. We also host private group classes for a minimum of 6 attendees and you even get to pick the theme you want, email hello@sweetdetailsgr.com for more info.

Unfortunately at this time we can not accommodate dietary restrictions.
In the event you cannot attend class, you may transfer your ticket to a friend or we will reschedule you for a future class IF you notify us 7 days before the workshop date. If you can't make it the day of the class your kit will be set aside for pick up at our studio, we will hold it for 48h.
