Carl Moore and Kaliane Van (b33p) present a night of ups and downs! Real-time data from thousands of cryptocurrency users across the globe will be interpreted into musical synthesis, Butoh inspired movements, and projected visuals. <h3>The Sound</h3>Live Solana blockchain data obtained from price oracles is streamed into a set of synthesis algorithms, creating drones, rhythms, and melodies that follow real-time price data. The data represents an aggregation of thousands of people's decisions and sentiments at any given moment, and is a testament to our extremely interconnected society. It's an auditory display that aims to tap into the blind momentum of humanity as thousands of minds go in and out of phase with each other, making their thoughts known on the blockchain as currency is traded.<h3>The Dance</h3>Kaliane will be using the Butoh and body-aware movement techniques she's been practicing for several years, to inform her physical and spiritually embodied synthesis of the event's stimuli.Butoh is an abstract form of dance theatre that originated in Japan in the late 1950s. It includes a range of aesthetic preferences, movement styles, and philosophical topics. Kaliane will mainly be drawing from Butoh's use of asynchronous timing, stoicism, emotional expressivity, embodiment of ailments, and elemental fluidity.<h3>About the Performers</h3>b33p is the creative union of Carl Moore and Kaliane Van. Their galaxies collided into sensorial collaboration, bringing about all sorts of creations! b33p is finishing up their debut album - Pleasing Pixels and Sinusoidal Sensations for Cymatic Cyborgues.
