Business Startup & Launch Program

Business Startup & Launch Program

Overview

Kickstart your biz ideas with expert tips and hands-on launch support at our in-person Startup & Launch Program!

The Business Launch Program is designed to help individuals and small organizations start, structure, and scale successful businesses within the supportive housing and human services industry. The program provides practical, real-world guidance focused on building sustainable service-based businesses, especially in areas such as IDD, mental health, and community housing.

Participants will learn the foundational steps of launching a business, including legal setup, compliance, funding strategies, branding, and operations. The program also emphasizes understanding state regulations, licensing requirements, and how to position services for contracts, referrals, and partnerships.

In addition to business fundamentals, the program focuses on mindset, leadership, and long-term planning—helping participants shift from employee thinking to owner and operator thinking. By the end of the program, attendees will leave with a clear business model, startup roadmap, and the tools needed to confidently launch and grow within the supportive housing space.
