Business models for clusters
John F. Kennedy once said: “The time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining.” Perhaps this can be the answer to the above concerns.
This Webinar is intended for cluster managers. Although the purpose of clusters is not to generate profit, understanding business models can be useful for clusters to better serve their mission and exploit the potential of the cluster. Stable financing of operations is also important for clusters, and in this case, understanding (re)design of business models can also be useful.
In the webinar, we will address:
- the question of why understanding and knowing the business model of a cluster is important,
- learn the difference between a business model and a business plan,
- learn about a simple tool for designing business models and
- work on own cases.
The webinar is being held within the framework of the EU-UA SUNRISE project, as part of the exchange of best practices among consortium members and enhance skills and knowledge crucial for the project's success.
The project is funded by the European Union and is therefore free of charge for participants.
More about the project:
The EU-UA SUNRISE project is designed to booster the resilience and sustainability of energy supplies in the EU and Ukraine by empowering decentralized renewable energy systems through holistic approach.
This project is committed to enhancing cross-border collaborations between SMEs within EU and Ukrainian clusters, focusing on
- RES (hydrogen, solar, wind, biomass),
- energy efficiency and
- smart management.
The consortium partnership brings together clusters from 6 countries (Norway, Sweden, Slovenia, Portugal, Poland and Ukraine). Take the opportunity to connect and network with the above-mentioned clusters.
