Hey there! Ready to dive into the world of business models? Join us for Business Model 101, an awesome in-person event where you'll learn the basics of crafting a winning business plan. Whether you're starting fresh or just curious, this is the perfect chance to get hands-on tips and connect with like-minded folks. What is BM101?

Business Model 101 is an introductory workshop designed to help you clarify what you’re building, who it’s for, and why it matters. This session is an early step in understanding your idea and exploring whether it’s worth pursuing further.

In this free, 2-hour workshop, you’ll work through a simple, practical lean canvas framework to clarify what you’re building, who it’s for, and what problem you’re solving.

After this workshop, you’ll be able to:

✅ Articulate the problem you want to explore

✅ Identify your early customer or user

✅ Map your idea using a Lean Canvas

✅ Decide whether your idea is worth validating further

✅ Leave with clearer sense of direction and next steps

The workshop is interactive, and we ask that you come ready to participate so we can create a welcoming and engaging experience for everyone. 

We’ll have snacks and refreshments available, and we encourage you to bring anything you need to stay comfortable and focused.

Getting to Edmonton Unlimited

We’re located at the corner of 101 Street and Jasper Avenue.

Driving:

• Use the ZipStall mobile app to find nearby parking
• We recommend the Skypark or Central Car Park – Lot #399, both right next to our building
• Street parking may be available. Be sure to note your zone number and pay online. Renewal is required every 2 hours.

Transit:

• Park and Ride options include Lewis Farms, Heritage Valley, Meadows, or Naki ($3.50 each way)

If you’re taking public transit, we’re a 1-minute walk from Central LRT Station, with several bus routes stopping nearby.
