Reframing inclusion: morals, civility, and the misrepresentation of DEI with Nick Basannavar

In recent months and years, DEI has been increasingly and dangerously reduced in political and corporate discourse, and often misrepresented through divisive rhetoric around ‘diversity hires.’ Many global organisations have scaled back or completely wiped their DEI activities.

This session helps participants to step back to first principles and reframe inclusion as what it actually is: an essential foundation for a strong, effective culture, rooted in moral good, civility, and respect.

The session will include some short opportunities for small-group discussion and reflection.
