Join us at Welsh Harp where we will take a walk around the reserve and survey the Bumblebees we see!

About

Bumblebees really start to liven up in late spring so on this guided walk we will survey the site and record the species we see.

We will learn how to identify the common big 8 bumblebees and some of the less common UK bees incuding learning about their preferred habitat and their behaviour.

This is a beginner friendly session, no experience needed and families are welcome!


Meeting Place

We will meet at 10.30am at The Cool Oak Lane Bridge (NW9 7AB).

What to bring

All equipment, and ID resources will be provided. We do reccommend that everyone wear suitable outdoor clothing including warm clothes and waterproofs, depending on the weather, as we will be outside all morning.

You are welcome to bring your own ID books or equipment if you would like.

There is limited amount of parking at Woodfield Park by the football club or along Birchen Grove.
