 Following on the heels of last year's magical Village Rockstars, Rima Das takes us back to the timeless beauty of the Assamese countryside in this bittersweet narrative. Three friends struggle to find their own identities, and to fight back against age-old traditions and parental expectations. This is no simple rural idyll however; in Das' deft hands, it’s a deeply compelling exploration of love, loss, and adolescence.

WHY WE RECOMMEND ADVANCE TICKETING? We recommend buying tickets online in advance as The New People Cinema has fewer seats than our other venues, and some showings will surely sell out. Online tickets ($11/film) are cheaper than at-the-door tickets ($13/film), and passes can only be purchased online!
