Built Different 2026 is a half-day, AI-focused real estate seminar on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Regency Manor & Banquet Center, 25228 W 12 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48034.

What is Built Different 2026?
A half-day of expert panels led by practicing agents from across the country. No theory. No gurus. Just operators sharing what is working right now.
The tools have changed. The agents winning are not running last year's playbook. They are built differently.
What you will leave with
- The AI tools moving real estate forward in 2026
- Prospecting, conversion, and Systems you can implement Monday morning
- Connections with serious professionals across multiple markets
Who should attend
Licensed agents, team leaders, brokers, and wholesalers are serious about AI and growth. Open to all real estate professionals.
About The Real Estate Collaboration (The REC)
The REC was founded in Farmington Hills, MI, in 2019 by Towanna Jackson, LaShawn Peterson, and Danielle Dunham as a space for African American Realtors with eXp Realty in Metro Detroit to share knowledge and resources. Today, the REC's reach extends to agents across markets and backgrounds who share the same mission: build generational wealth in our communities through real estate.
The Homecoming
Built Different started in Metro Detroit as a Juneteenth Real Estate Day of Education and Networking. It spent the last two years in Atlanta. On June 19, 2026, it comes home.
A bigger purpose
A portion of every ticket benefits the Andre V. Seldon Jr Foundation, which provides boy mentorship and free swim lessons in honor of Andre V. Seldon Jr., a Belleville, MI native and former University of Michigan cornerback who passed in 2024.
Andre had the heart of a lion. Your ticket helps keep his legacy moving.
Seats are limited. Built Different is back where it started.
