About this event

  • 2 hours 30 minutes

In the past, building a business website could be expensive and complicated. But today, there are website builders that are affordable and easy-to-use for almost any entrepreneur.

This course will teach you how to create a professional business website with the latest tools. By the end of this three-and-a-half-hour course, you will be able to:

• Define the essential components of effective websites

• Create a domain name that is easy to write and remember

• Decide which website builder is best for your business

• Develop a website using the Wix platform, including an eCommerce system

This course is the third module in the NYC Department of Small Business Services’ (SBS) six-module Digital Marketing series. We encourage you to complete the prior two modules, “Developing a Marketing Strategy,” and “Creating Content Your Customers Value,” before you take this course.

Please note: This class will be a webinar and you will receive the details needed to join by email 24 hours prior to the start time.
