The Idea Center is the newest collaboration hub for the University of South Carolina. At the corner of Gadsden and Greene, this 3-level interior upfit neighbors the new retail spaces and apartments at 737 Gateway. At just under 44,000 SF, the Idea Center offers a multitude of spaces with varied sizes and amenities. Renovations include two 400-person flex spaces, meeting rooms, craft room, catering kitchen, and event space overlooking Colonial Life Arena. The intent is for students, collegiate organizations, university faculty, and alumni to be able to take advantage of these multipurpose facilities. The lively and playful interior design of the Idea Center reflects its active programming and diverse user groups, and encourages those who enter the space to stay long after their meeting has ended.
